This tool produces a 30° Bevel Carve with a width of 25.4mm (1"). It's designed to give a decorative profile that is hard to accurately achieve by other methods. By using the shank bearing and a template, the tool can be used to carve a variable width bevel, allowing interesting carves to flow into one another. Wider carves can be created using concentric templates as with the S style belly cut example shown
