I now have the 1/4" and 1/2" versions as I often use some gnarly Australian hardwoods with Janka ratings of 10,000N and over. These 4 flute rebates bits work great! beautiful clean rebates, end grain a lot cleaner, little or no burn. Using the same feed rate and a couple of passes for deeper rebates, I can achieve better results much quicker than I could with traditional 2 flute bits. The service from the Radian Tools team has been awesome, fast dispatch, shipped half way round the world in under 2 weeks and great communication, and the bits are really well priced.
I will definitely be buying more 4 flute bits from Radian Tools, replacing my higher use bits.
